CDNs4
Our in-house content delivery network — cache and serve assets from edge nodes worldwide, with smart purging, TLS and real-time analytics for every site we run.
The brief
We were stitching together third-party CDNs for every project — different dashboards, opaque billing, and no easy way to purge or tune caching the way our sites needed. We wanted our own delivery layer that every Infinity Web build could lean on by default.
What we built
CDNs4 is a content delivery network of our own: anycast edge nodes that cache and serve assets close to every visitor, with automatic TLS, image optimisation, fine-grained cache rules and instant global purge. A single dashboard shows hit rates, bandwidth and latency in real time, and it wires into our deploy pipeline so cache invalidation just happens on release.
The outcome
CDNs4 now serves 12B+ requests a month from 40+ edge locations at under 30ms median latency. Our sites are faster everywhere, delivery costs are predictable, and caching is finally something we control rather than rent.
