The brief
Our own billing lived in a mix of spreadsheets, manual PDFs and chasing emails. Invoices went out inconsistently, payment status was a guess, and reconciling at month-end ate days. We wanted one invoicing tool we trusted enough to run the business on.
What we built
BMDocs handles the full document lifecycle: branded invoices, quotes and receipts built from reusable line items, recurring and milestone billing, automatic reminders, and online payment so clients can settle in a click. Every document is versioned and exportable, with a client portal for self-serve history and a dashboard that shows exactly what's paid, due or overdue.
The outcome
BMDocs now issues 18k+ documents a month and has processed €40M+ in invoicing at 99.9% uptime. Month-end reconciliation went from days to an afternoon, and late payments fell sharply once reminders and online pay became automatic.
